Large range of stock, staff very helpful.

Response to Mr Hain - Successful Appeal granted by Court judgement -Minus points to Mr Hain senior and junior . I did go ahead with the purchase although I had been misled by Mr Hain senior. I had emailed the company before travelling from Portobello to Dairsie, sometime before , to confirm the service had received my email which was headed up Mazda Bongo 45000 miles and I was told they had . Unfortunately when I arrived the vehicle they sold me had 56000 miles on the clock .In the first six months a number of things went wrong with the vehicle . Unfortunately the company had no contingency plans when a vehicle they have sold in the first six months is of unsatisfactory quality. I only had one vehicle at the time so I was unable to leave the van in Dairsie. In addition , the warranty was not worth the paper it was written on as nothing seemed to be covered under warranty and the garage could not provide me with a courtesy car and were very reluctant initially to even look at the van . Although Mr Hain was successful initially I appealed to the Appeal Court. Mr Hain has conveniently forgot to tell you that the appeal was successful. Buyers beware -very unpleasant experience I would provide the company with minus points but system disallows

Fantastic service. I had been given a very good trade in for my car. I looked at there campervan' s all were spotless with new conversion fitted. I would recommend a visit

Mr Hain (senior) sold me a camper van which I understood had done 45000 miles on 29 May 2016 and I paid a deposit of 200 for a 2000 Mazda bongo - approx. 15000 including extras. I followed our agreement up in writing and Mr Hain phoned me to reconfirm the mileage and to advise the van would be painted underneath for an extra 200 etc. I arrived from Portobello on 15 June excited with my puppy to collect the van - Mr Hain (senior) said I would now be dealing with his son -Saul Hain (junior). When I was leaving the garage and paper work complete, I noticed the mileage to be nearly 57000 miles. Mr Hain (junior) said we would speak to his father. I felt Mr Hain (senior) got quite nasty to me when I questioned the mileage. I suggested a discount but that was not for consideration. Turning to defects in the first six months (i) central locking not working (or failing); (ii) refrigerator not working; (iii) brake pads worn and requiring replacement; and (iv) leaking oil gasket. I asked Mr Hain (junior) if he or one of his colleagues would view the defects relating to the campervan at my home on more than one occasion ( as I did not have another vehicle) but he failed to do so or offer me some compensation as I would have to travel from outside Edinburgh to Dairsie and none of the above was covered under warranty. Mr Hain (junior) said: As advised before we would not compensate you for travel or provide a courtesy car for a repair required to your vehicle. Source Saul Hain (junior) email 4 & 6 October 2016.What a stupid women I was to have bought a van from this garage. I found Mr Hain (senior & junior) unpleasant to deal with !!Hope others have a good experience and the garage can work to obtain honest feedback which reflects real customer satisfaction.:-(

I phoned fantastic campervans and spoke to Saul about the vans on sale. He told me all about the vans they sale and on two trade ins that where due in. After going up and seeing for my self, i ended up buying a van. The service Saul gave and his staff was nothing less than outstanding. I would give anyone looking for there fist campervan like me or wanting to update there old van. Do have a look at what this family business can offer. You won't be disappointed. I will just say thank you to all the staff for the friendly experience I was given.
