I havent stayed there as I have been trying to book a golfing party of 12 from Canada with them for over 6 months, was quoted a price by their call centre and told their was availability only to be called back and told there was a mistake, that was last July, have emailed 3 times since trying to book for April and October 2020 and have yet to receive a reply from their golf concierge Heidi who I am beginning to think is a fictional character! Anyways I shall try once more then start trying other hotels.
Very old hotel in Saint Andrews. Our suite had a beautiful view to the see. Nice to be there.
Had a fabulous time at the Hogmanay Party Night. 5 course dinner was excellent and well presented. Service was friendly and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble for anyone throughout the night. Entertainment was also excellent with the Michael Buble tribute act excelling. Would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend for anyone else thinking of doing the same.
Theres good and bad here. General experienced staff and management were all very good but waitress service is quite poor standard. Evening meal was disappointing, portion sizes on the small size and bad waitress service but breakfast was good. Found the twin beds very small, could do with slightly bigger ones. Other than that all aspects of hotel was very nice and I would go back.
Good quality rooms. The Tap was leaking, didnt bother us but notified reception.The lift was broken. However they helped carry our bags up to the second level.Car park is tiny. Not very friendly for those visitors who have cars need to leave your key at reception
