I spent the past five years in St Andrews, first as an undergraduate and then as a postgraduate (2007 2012). It was for my final year there that I rented a one-bedroom apartment through Inchdairnie. This apartment was located in the center of town, no more than a two-minute walk away from the ocean, the main library, and Tescos. Beautifully furnished, very well maintained, and equipped with all the necessary household effects, it was by far the best place I stayed in during my time at St Andrews. The team at the Inchdairnie office went out of their way to facilitate my move-in and move-out, adjusting their inventory checks to fit my travel schedule as well as arranging for a place where I could pick up and drop off my keys. My emails were always answered promptly and any necessary maintenance work or safety checks were announced well in advance. While letting agencies I had dealt with previously conducted inspections, Inchdairnie made periodic visits. The person coming over to my house that day was never only there to look at the apartment but always also to inquire whether I had any concerns. As during all my interactions with the Inchdairnie team from my initial interview to the refunding of my deposit I was treated like an equal, amicably and respectfully. From past experiences I know that this is not a given with the letting agencies in St Andrews and it made me appreciate the professional and efficient manner of everybody at Inchdairnie even more. I recommend them very much.
