Pretty decent leisure centre,car park is spoiled by school buses sitting all day in it, insightful !
This is my local leisure centre and overall it's ok but could do with being refurbished. Inside and out. By the look of the inside the facilities haven't been updated for a while, it looks very 90's, the changing rooms are dated, and have damage tiles and marks on doors and walls, the sauna, Steam room and hot tub also need a fresh look as does the Swimming pool. The upstairs viewing gallery which once had a cafe and also has a full sized snooker table also needs sorting out. The whole place needs some TLC as it would be so much more popular with the local community who I'm sure would use it much more if money was spent on it to bring it into the 21st century. It does have a decent gym with the equipment needed for your daily workout. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful with the odd exception of one or two who could do with some customer service training. The swimming teachers are very good with the kids but sometimes there isn't a huge amount of space if the classes are busy. Bottom line is the whole centre needs updating to freshen it up.
Perfect clean place with warm and dry changing rooms a credht to fife pools must be the best!
Always enjoy coming along with the kids and the staff are very welcoming. However there are a few negatives as the pool water isn't always the warmest and some upgrades are needing done but the thing that I think is a shame is the cafe upstairs has been closed for a few years now and seems to be a waste of space now, it would be good to have it opened up again even if it's just a small menu ie stovies, burger and chips or a salad.
