For a long time I've been looking to find a place with good gelatos. I had given up. And randomly, on a trip to my wife's university, I stumbled across this place. It looked appealing. So with a slight bit of hope that it just tastes good, I went in. The staff gave me a taster. Oh my lord, I was gob smacked. Finally, the UK has not let me down! It brought back the sweet memories of Italy and the originality of Scotland. Beautiful! I kept asking the staff member to open this store in other cities just so I don't have to travel 2 hours to get. But if they don't open else where. I most definitely will pretend I want to see my wife studying well at university just so i can pay a visit xD
Great service, fantastic ice creams. Can do all kinds of toppings on your ice cream. Its busy at weekend.
Lovely place to go for ice cream! There's a good selection of flavours with both classic and more exotic ones like elderflower so there's something for everyone. There's also quite a few choices for cones and toppings. The cafe and ice cream shop are somewhat separate so if you only buy ice cream you can't sit down on the cafe side and might not get one of the few seats inside.
Loved it - visited many times and never disappointed. It is often quite busy and there are sometimes waits to be seated, but it is worth the wait!
Lovely ice cream sundaes. Service was good but I felt there were too many staff. It felt a bit much.
