Surprisingly well appointed rooms for an inexpensive hotel. Adjacent public car parking was free which was a bonus. Food was plentiful and tasty, typical pub grub and good choice of cooked food at breakfast.
Good food nice staff. Good music in background. Definitely going back next time in st Andrews
Really great pub / hotel food excellent great choice of beers..We were unfortunate that the family room seems to be above the plant room so we had a low frequency hum/vibration through the room from very early in the morning.. This would have been a 5 star review relative to the cost if it wasn't for this
Stayed at Greyfriars for New Year couldnt fault it in anyway the room was lovely, clean and comfortable, the staff were brilliant so friendly couldnt do enough for you and breakfast was really good too. Would certainly recommend it as a place to stay if you are visiting St Andrews.
Fantastic place. Great atmosphere. Staff are so friendly and those whole place looks great. Food is dynamite and prices are very reasonable. Seemed very popular with family's,couples and students alike. All in a great place to spend time in.
